This was the last series Larson devised at Universal Television before he moved to 20th Century Fox Television. Included on the last disc is the Team Knight Rider TV series in its 22-episode entirety, though only in standard definition.

The discs are easy to pull out (which is always a major criteria I’m expecting from a dvd) and it’s an absolute pleasure to (re)discover the entire series in its best quality on blu-ray (even if you can’t expect a miracle, though…that’s an 80’s tv series after all which means that the picture as well as the sound are from that time, but they’ve been enhanced). Hasselhoff also played Garthe Knight, Wilton Knight's estranged son and a criminal mastermind who drives Goliath, a Peterbilt 352 Pacemaker semi-truck armed with rockets, and protected by KITT's Molecular Bonded Shell. Stations were initially offered either the original hour-long format (with three minutes cut from each episode), or severely-condensed into half-hour format. T. The other extras consist of featurettes originally created for the show’s DVD releases, two full-motion still galleries, and a K. from Sylvia written by French composer Léo Delibes) from which he took pieces for the "Knight Rider Theme".J. and the Bear), it gained even further popularity in syndication, entering the pop culture lexicon and featuring one of the most iconic cars of the era, as well as one of the coolest opening theme songs ever. Also it has subs (both in German and English - something which other versions don't), some new exclusive bonus, and, of course, nifty artwork!

The Knight Rider theme heavily borrowed from Léo Delibes' "Procession of Bacchus" from the ballet Sylvia. Like so many shows of the era like The A-Team, Airwolf, The Six Million Dollar Man, or even to some extent The Incredible Hulk featuring loner heroes helping simple folk deal with whatever criminal enterprise is harassing them. With that, I felt like I had to pop the volume up a few notches but nothing too serious in that quarter.With his new identity, "Michael Knight", Long is provided with high tech crime-fighting equipment, most notably the car named KITT. Even with the gunfire and explosions, there was a low-stakes innocence to the series that would be usurped by the dramatic thrills of Miami Vice while MacGyver had an especially unique hook to the action hero beyond a talking car.
